What do you mean when you say you love me but act the opposite ?

How many more times should I without an apology forgive?

I keep burning myself just to make sure you’re not cold

And as I burn it hurts but on to this love I hold

I am losing myself, I am fading away

I am losing hope but still I pray

I am praying you will change

I am praying I can exchange

The affliction and exhaustion I’ve experienced in the name of love

For happiness and peace because I am no longer tough

So as I keep burning, take all my warmth and leave me none

Finish what you’ve started so that at-last we can be done

And I can have a pure chance at love again

And I will no longer know this type of pain
